拼圖是由不同版片進行拼組成為完整的圖案。
同學的習作是一幅知識拼圖，因為內裡的知識來自不同的資訊及他人的觀點，例如圖書、學術期刊文章、網上資訊等。
因此同學必須在習作上，以標準格式註明引用他人觀點的資訊出處，例如英文習作以APA引用文獻格式，中文習作以參考APA格式的中文文稿格式。
如果同學沒有在習作上標示引文出處，會視為有抄襲他人觀點及知識的欺騙行為，有關罰則及詳情，可參看學生手冊。

中文習作以參考APA格式的中文文稿格式。
- 有關如何檢索資料，請參看圖書館網頁 – 圖書館教室 或 應用線上個人資訊服務查詢所需檢索資料。
- 文內註（In-Text Citations），可以分為直接引文（Direct Quotation）及間接引文（Indirect Quotation）。有關文內註（In-Text Citations）的寫法技巧，請向「語言中心」查詢相關的課堂。
- 直接引文（Direct Quotation）：直接引用原文詞句。
- 英文習作根據APA引用文獻格式，必須在引用原文詞句的開首及結束加上 “ ” 開刪引號，及標示所引用文獻作者的姓氏，著作年和引用原文詞句的所在頁數。作者的姓氏可以在正文或括號內，但是著作年和引用原文詞句的所在頁數必須置於括號內。

- 中文習作是參考APA引用文獻格式，必須標示所引用文獻作者的全名和著作年。作者的全名可以在正文或括號內，但是著作年必須置於括號內。
- 直接引文（Direct Quotation）：直接引用原文詞句。
- 參考文獻列表（Reference List），英文習作根據所引用文獻作者的姓氏由A至Z排序，中文習作根據所引用文獻作者的姓氏筆劃數為排序。
